this is the best solar fountain i have seen...amazing!!!
I bought this pump for our outdoor fountain May 24, 2024. The pump quit on me Sept 15, 2024. The strength was perfect. We had it go through our 13 inch elephant and the spray would spray 12-16 inches through the spout. The battery backup also had it still going on cloudy afternoons. I'm trying to contact seller to buy another pump. I'm not sure if 4 months is the life span. I had the pump in a mesh bag. The filter was clean. There is not a way to replace the battery.
It's stops into night which is fine plenty of pressure..
I chose Poposoap solar fountain because it said the solar has a back up battery and it also has good ratings on other websites. When I received mine it was packaged beautifully, everything was secure and the small items were in little zip baggies. It is made of a good quality plastic and the panel is a very nice quality too. It was super easy to set up and once I plugged it in to the solar panel it started running immediately, BUT if I put my hand in front of the panel it would stop running, I figured it might need to be in the sun for a few days to ""charge"" but even after a few days it still was not running in a shadow. I contacted their customer service, which by the way they have several ways to contact them: Chat on their website, e-mail or call .... yes, you can call them AND they answer!! BONUS: I had to hang up while waiting for customer service due to a situation at home and THEY CALLED ME BACK (unheard of) I am so impressed with their customer service, they are really nice and professional. They instructed me what to do about my fountain not working (send some information via e-mail) and they always get back within 24 hrs. and stated they would be sending me a new solar pump, that these have a 1 year warranty on them .... again, I don't think any other company does that. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and their products to everyone - Kudos to you Poposoap for being such an amazing company! I will update with a video once I get my fountain up and running.
I have a water feature that, every time crows land on it, they stuff food and seeds down the top, ultimately reducing the water flow to a trickle because the pump can't handle the obstruction.
