This 5200mAh battery backup keeps solar fountain pumps running all night. Customers said it "runs all night" and is "very dependable." Easy to set up and works as expected. Holds charge overnight without sun. Includes adapters compatible with other brands. Some shoppers noted minor connector threading issues.
Runs all night. Very dependable and works well.
I bought this back up battery to go with the solar panel and pump. It was easy to connect. It is small enough to keep behind the panel, making it unnoticed. It stores enough power to keep the pump going even in cloudy weather.
This battery backup is great!! Keeps the birdbath flowing in cloudy weather and at night. My fountain was still flowing at 4am because of the Poposoap 2200mAh battery backup.
This battery drives my pump until almost midnight, 10pm on a cloudy day. Awesome performance!
Additional update...seller was very prompt in honoring warranty. So impressed that I just ordered 2 additional items from them today.UPDATE...working with seller for replacement. I will update again when received.I purchased 2 of these backup batteries just under 2 months ago...one to back up a 12w fountain pump and the other to back up a 20w fountain pump. One didn't work great from the beginning, but it did work for an hour or so after sundown. The other seemed to work well until recently. Now it won't work at all after no sun is hitting the panel directly. So both have pretty much quit after only 2 months.
Wanted the back up battery so we could run the pump later in the day and are happy to find that it does just that. Very easy connections to solar panel too!
It works as it is supposed to. I wish there was a photocell for it so that it didn’t run all night and it would save battery for cloud cover.
works fine. as advertised. arrived as scheduled.
Works better that I thought and had extended the running time by 50%
great purchase. keeps fountain running until 3 am or longer. def recommend
This is exactly what was needed to back up the solar pond pump!
Works as advertised, perfect for my needs
This worked without even being charged. I would recommend.
This actually works better than I expected it to. It keeps the fountain going when the shadows come and then for about three or four hours after the sun sets. It does what I hope it would do.
Works great
Works as it should. Easy set up.
Unpacked, plugged in as per info on bottom of the pack. You can't plug it wrongly. Fountain working in clouds and after dark.
It's good will recommend this to friend.
Noice!
This is a great add on to the solar pump for ponds. Haven't had much success with solar pumps and backup batteries in the past but this one is different. It holds a charge overnight without sun and keeps the pump running perfectly.
Seems to be working fine. Two of the connector threads were a bit cross threaded so I put everything in a ammo can and also taped the connectors. This battery pack does come with adapters that will work with other brands which I ended up needing.
So far this is amazing. Had enough charge in it from shipping to run my fountain in the complete overcast on the first day.
Can two of these battery packs be used in parallel to extend the battery operation of the 12v solar pump using a 70W solar panel? I currently have one installed and due to multiple cloudy days in a row, there isn’t enough power to keep the pump running.
Dear friends, it is not recommended to use two battery packs in parallel, because the power of the solar panel is limited and may not be able to fully charge both battery packs. In this case, the actual performance is not as good as using a single battery pack.
