12W 160GPH Solar Water Fountain Pump - Black Pump

Not complicated to assemble but needs a lot of strong light to work effectively. I wish it had a battery option or plug in option too.

Solar panel is quite large. Made one of those do it yourself fountains with some pots laying around. Did a trial run on driveway in overcast weather. Took it apart and moved it to permanent location and seems to work pretty well during the day so far. Hose is long and can be cut to size. My fountain is not sitting straight do to ground but waterfall is on side I can see.

This is the 2nd POPOSOAP solar water pump I've put in my garden. The first one I put in last year, and it's still working great! It's so simple to set up and use, especially since I've come up with what I think has to be the easiest DIY garden fountain. Get yourself some planter inserts. I intentionally didn't fill in all the gaps so you can see the orange insert. They're perfect because there is a hole directly in the center. The insert sits high enough to allow plenty of room for the water pump underneath. Add rocks to the top and voila! I might add dirt to the larger pot and plant some flowers. I've also discovered that the bubble spout is the most attractive to the birds and will only spill over the edge in a strong wind. Every garden should have a water feature and POPOSOAP is easy, affordable, and just lovely.

At first when I took it out of the box it wouldn't run when I hooked it up even in full sun. I almost sent it back until I checked the voltage of the panel and saw that was good. So I immersed the pump in this bucket of water and it started right up. Take it out and it immediately stops running. So it has built in run-dry protection which is nice. If you put it up off the bottom of your pond you can avoid accidentally draining it completely.Even on a heavily overcast day this thing is pumping water and in full sun it's a great fountain. It is easy to change the foam filter and it came with two extras. They are simple to rinse out and you could make some out of any open cell foam if you needed to.The suction cup feet are very aggressive and hold tight. They are easy to lose when you pull the housing off to change the filter so be careful.In all this is a nice little fountain kit.

This POPOSOAP Solar Fountain Pump is great! I love feeding birds and providing a water source for them. This solar fountain pump keeps the water circulating so it stays desirable for the birds. It came with many accessories that I do not need. It is perfect for many different applications. It may seem a little pricey. But, when you consider that it is solar powered and that it comes with two options for mounting, it is a good deal. I own other POPOSOAP products. I am pleased with its performance.

Would like to have some kind of solar power storage but works great under full sun.

bought this last year but didn't put it together. after sitting in my closet for almost a year, I finally put it together and it functions flawlessly.

This is a great solar water pump. The panel is large and powerful making for a strong spray. The kit comes with many options of sprayer heads for different designs and aesthetics. There is even an option to use the pump to create custom fountain features.

The assembly and instructions were confusing. The company labeled parts in the manual but not the physical parts. This made the whole thing annoying to put together. Once assembled the pump works instantly when exposed to the sun. However, it does seem to have to be positioned exactly “right” in order to function.

After about a week the pump stopped working unexpectedly and the company was super quick to respond and correct the issue by sending me a new pump. Excellent customer

I'm planning on using this for a small pond I'm installing that will not have access to line power. In testing, the pump works well in full sunlight, but since this doesn't have a battery to hold the voltage steady, the power is very inconsistent, relying on the amount of sun available at any given time. I have to say that, at this price, I'm surprised at this shortcoming. No issues with the hardware that is includes, it all works well and is of reasonable quality.
