THE IDEA BEHIND THE WATER

The loveliest garden moments are often the simplest.

A garden pot, white stones and a few touches of green. Faeandhome brings them together around a small fountain, turning an everyday container into a reason to spend more time outside.

“Turned a simple garden pot into my new favorite patio fountain, and the soft sound of running water is so peaceful!”From the reel caption

This is the kind of project that invites you outside—and gives you a reason to linger.

JUST ONE LITTLE CHANGE

From ordinary pot to everyday magic.

See two moments from the film: the pump going into the pot, and the finished fountain. The viewpoints differ; the same everyday vessel is at the heart of both.

MOMENTS FROM THE FILM

A little project. A lot of joy.

Watch four moments from the build. Use the film for inspiration, and the kit instructions for the connections and water level.

Pump and supports being placed inside the pot
01 / MAKE ROOM

Start with a vessel.

Faeandhome positions the fountain inside the pot. Choose a watertight container with space to keep the pump submerged and accessible.

White stones arranged inside the pot
02 / SHAPE THE BASE

Give water a place.

White stones build up the arrangement around the fountain. Keep the pump intake clear and leave a way to lift it out for cleaning.

03 / ADD GREENERY

Make it your own.

Plants soften the edge and hide the hardware. Choose plants suited to your water depth and outdoor conditions.

04 / FIND THE SUN

Bring it to life.

The separate panel sits beside the finished pot. Give it direct sun, test the spray and check that water returns to the container.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED

A few simple things. One beautiful result.

From the POPOSOAP kit

  • 8W solar panel with battery backup
  • Small fountain pump
  • LED light attachment
  • Interchangeable spray nozzles

Make it your own

  • Water-holding garden pot
  • Clean decorative stones
  • Water-friendly plants
  • Clean water + sunny spot

The pot, stones and plants are the creator’s additions. Before buying, check your vessel holds water, the pump can stay submerged, and the separate panel can reach direct sunlight. Leave access to lift out and clean the pump.

A LITTLE MAGIC, LONGER

Beautiful at noon. Lovely at dusk.

In bright sunlight, enjoy the sparkle and sound of running water. As daylight fades, the built-in battery and LED light can add an entirely different atmosphere—when enough energy has been stored.

Battery-backed operation depends on charge, sunlight and conditions. The LED switches on automatically in low ambient light; continuous nighttime operation is not guaranteed.

The pot, stones and plants are not included. Battery-backed night use depends on stored charge; the 8W kit does not include a remote control.

A FEW GOOD THINGS TO KNOW

Before you begin.

A few practical answers about the pot, the sunlight and what to expect after sunset.

Can I use a garden pot I already have?

Yes, if it is stable, watertight and large enough to keep the pump fully submerged with its inlet clear. Check the usable space inside, not just the outside diameter. Leave access to remove the pump for cleaning.

What if my planter has drainage holes?

Use a suitable watertight liner or insert, or a vessel made to hold water. Test it for leaks before adding the pump and decorations. The film does not show a complete waterproofing method.

Does the pot need to sit in full sun?

The separate solar panel needs direct sunlight for useful charging. You can plan the pot’s position separately, provided the supplied cable reaches. The listed cable is about 9.85 feet; check the route before choosing your spot.

Will the fountain and light work after sunset?

P108DL can use stored battery power after sunset, and its LED light comes on in low ambient light. Runtime depends on the energy stored, sunlight and operating conditions. Do not plan on guaranteed all-night running after a cloudy day.

Why might it stop on a cloudy day?

The battery needs sunlight to recharge. Prolonged weak light can use up the stored energy and stop the pump. Give the panel direct sun, keep its surface clean and allow it to recharge.

Are the pot, plants and white stones included?

No. Those are the creator’s own additions. The kit provides the solar panel, pump, battery backup, LED attachment and fountain accessories; use the current product page for the full packing list.

Does the 8W kit have a remote or selectable colors?

The 8W version does not include a remote. Its light operates automatically in low ambient light. Remote controls, color-selection and timer instructions shown for the 12W version should not be assumed to apply to this kit.

What plants should I put around the fountain?

Choose plants suited to the water depth and your outdoor conditions; a local garden center can help with the selection. The film shows a styled arrangement, not long-term plant performance. Keep loose soil and plant debris away from the pump inlet.

How do I stop water splashing out?

Choose a low, gentle spray that fits within the pot, and test it in the actual location. Wind and high spray patterns can carry water outside. Check the water level regularly and top it up so the pump stays submerged.

Can I finish the whole project in 10 minutes?

The brand’s 10-minute setup message does not measure this particular build. Finding a vessel, making it watertight, choosing plants and testing the spray can take longer. Kit assembly and garden preparation are separate.

How much cleaning does it need?

Check the water level and remove debris regularly. Clean the pump, filter sponge and nozzle when buildup reduces the flow, following the manual. Moving water and a filter sponge do not make the container maintenance-free.

What should I check if the flow is weak or the pump stops?

Check the water level, direct sunlight, battery charge and cable connections first. Then check the inlet, sponge and nozzle for debris, or any tubing for kinks. Disconnect the pump before cleaning and follow the supplied instructions.
