What You’ll Need
Here’s everything you’ll need to get your Poposoap pond project started. We recommend using our complete product set for a smooth installation and best results.
① Pond Liner: Flexible pond liner to shape your pond.
② Pond Pump: Choose based on your pond volume. Use our pond volume calculator. Battery Backup(Optional): Provide power.
③Filtartion: Clean water and prevent green algae.
④ Stones, plants: Decorate and weigh down the liner.
⑤ Tools: Shovel, scissors, tape measure, level, stone, fountain nozzle, etc.:
Step 1: Choose Your Pond Location
Choose a level spot with direct sunlight (for solar pumps)
Avoid tree roots and low-lying areas
Easy access for maintenance
Step 2: Dig the Pond Outline
Outline the pond with spray paint or rope
Dig 1.5 ft deep (3 ft for koi)
Remove sharp objects and level the base
Step 3: Install the Liner & Pump
Lay the pond liner and trim edges (12" overlap recommended)
Press into creases, smooth out wrinkles
Place the Poposoap pump at the bottom center
Step 4: Fill with Water & Decorate
Fill gradually and adjust liner as needed
Use rocks and plants to cover edges
Turn on pump and enjoy!
